Select is a tool for performing and evaluating email classification using supervised learning methods.

Select has been tested on GNU/Linux and Solaris. It might also work on other similar operating systems.

Xapian is an information retrieval library. Some of the stemming algorithms in Select are taken from it.

mairix is a program for indexing and searching email messages. The email parser in Select originally comes from it.

ifile is a mail filter using machine learning.
