EXPERIENCE

Research and Teaching Assistant at the Department of Mechanics, Royal institute of Technology, 1997-98. During this year I supervised undergraduate students during their laborations and took part in wind-tunnel research and report-writing. These experiments and the experiments on which my Master's thesis was based, gave me the oppurtunity to get acquainted to a large number of experimental techniques, including PIV, hot-wire anemometry and Preston tubes.

Research engineer at the Aeronautical Research Institute of Sweden, Feb 1999-Aug 2000. The work involved several different wind-tunnel tests related to wind-power turbines, including PIV measurements, cup anemometers, smoke visualisations and static pressure measurements.

Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Florida, Aug 2000-present. The research involves experiments on supersonic flow related to pulse detonation and scramjet engines. Measurement techniques include Rayleigh scattering, Schlieren optics and pressure-sensitive paint. TA duties include tutoring and grading assignments for undergraduate courses.
