I also like
Other music

Despite having claimed on the Deep Purple page that I'm sort of a "purpoholic", I actually listen to all kinds of good music (which really isn't that strange since DP plays all kinds of music...). I've listed some creators of good music below.

  Acoustic Mostly Autumn is:
  Bryan Josh - guitar, vocals
  Heather Findlay - vocals, flute
  Angela Goldthorpe - recorders
Last summer I heard
MOSTLY AUTUMN

for the first time, when they supported Blackmore's Night in Germany. They did a wonderful but too short (30 min) acoustic set and I knew then, as I know now, that this is a band to follow - they have a great potential. They are normally a seven piece band playing their own kind of rock with Celtic and other influences. Someone described it as "Pink Floyd meets Riverdance". But their three piece acoustic performance is hard to beat. You can hear every note crystal clear and that's a true joy as they are such talented musicians, all of them.
  Orsa Spelmän is:
Perra Moraeus - fiddle, clarinet, flutes
  Olle Moraeus - fiddle
  Kalle Moraeus - guitar, fiddle
  Leif Göras - fiddle
  Nicke Göthe - fiddle, guitar
  LarsÅke Leksell - accordion
A great Swedish folk band is
ORSA SPELMÄN

I like folk music when the tunes are nice and they are played with joy, improvisation, virtuosity and playfulness. This is what characterizes the music of Orsa Spelmän. They play traditional Swedish folk music, with a strong fiddle sound, mixed with their own personal influences of all kinds. Ex-ABBA keyboardist Benny Andersson sometimes join in on accordion.
Music... The father of good music, as I know it, is
JOHANN SEBASTIAN BACH

All serious musicians should take a look at the works he has composed. Without J.S. Bach and his likes, good music would probably not be as good as it is today; I would neither play nor listen to music and you wouldn't be reading these pages. For your information, there's an excellent Bach museum in Leipzig, where he worked as a cantor in the church of St Thomas.

More to come...
